Every Christmas countless elderly women, widows, and pregnant mothers face Christmas with empty pots and no food to feed their families. Many spend the season in quiet hunger, feeling forgotten and alone. By giving out bags of rice, cooking items and gifts Each year on December 23rd, we gather to make sure vulnerable women can celebrate Christmas with dignity and joy. Your support will bring smiles to mothers. Together, we can make this Christmas a true December to Remember.
In many underserved communities in Nigeria, including Lugbe, Christmas is not a season of joy but a reminder of hunger. Elderly women, widows, and expectant mothers often have no food to cook, and spend the day watching their children go hungry, hoping a kind neighbor might share a small plate of food. For families like these, the festive season becomes a painful reminder of struggle days without enough food, care, or companionship during a time meant for love and warmth
That is why our December to Remember project exists to make sure no mother, widow, or elderly woman in Lugbe spends Christmas hungry, and to give vulnerable families the dignity of sharing a warm meal during the season of love.
This project creates lasting change by reducing hunger, strengthening vulnerable households, and restoring dignity to elderly women, widows, and pregnant mothers. Each year of support helps families stay healthier, more stable, and more hopeful during the holiday season. Over time, the December to Remember outreach builds a stronger, more caring community where no woman with family faces Christmas alone or hungry.
