Since our last update, the area around the Yacoobi Foundation has begun receiving a steady supply of water from the Afghan government. We have decided that the well is no longer needed at this location, but have identified a new school in rural Herat Province that is in need. This new school is currently being built and will educate approximately 300 students, in addition to the women who will attend classes at the Women’s Learning Center, which is to be housed in the school to serve the surrounding community. We are so thankful for your support of this project and are looking forward to the day when the project is fully funded and we are able to dig a well for this school.
