Millions of refugees and vulnerable families in Gaza and Syria lack reliable access to clean and safe drinking water due to prolonged conflict and damaged infrastructure. This project will provide sustainable water solutions by digging new water wells, rehabilitating damaged water systems, and delivering emergency water supplies to underserved communities. Through long-term infrastructure and immediate relief, the project aims to reduce waterborne diseases, improve hygiene, and restore dignity t
In Gaza and Syria, years of conflict have destroyed water infrastructure and severely limited access to clean water. Many families rely on contaminated or unreliable water sources, increasing the risk of disease, dehydration, and poor hygiene-especially during extreme summer heat. Children often spend hours collecting water instead of attending school, and vulnerable populations face ongoing health risks due to unsafe water consumption.
This project will address both immediate and long-term water needs by: Digging new water wells to provide sustainable access to clean water Rehabilitating damaged water networks and pumping systems Delivering emergency water through tankers to high-need areas Installing water storage equipment to ensure safe and consistent access Local teams will assess community needs to ensure resources are distributed efficiently and equitably.
Access to clean water will significantly reduce waterborne illnesses, improve public health, and enhance overall community stability. Sustainable water systems will serve thousands of people for years, allowing children to attend school, families to maintain hygiene, and communities to rebuild resilience. The project creates a lasting infrastructure that continues benefiting future generations.
