It never ceases to amaze us how much our Ethiopia team can accomplish!
Within the past few months, six schools and orphanages have received permanent access to safe drinking water through Splash's water filtration systems--benefiting over 11,000 kids, teachers, and staff, instantly.
On top of all this, the Splash team has been presenting findings from a citywide survey to audiences ranging from Ethiopia’s federal and district government officials to leaders in the water and sanitation sectors. We've also engaged over 300 school directors in direct dialogue to build support for our WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) program. Overall, Splash's work has been so well received that we were invited to sit on the WASH Steering Committee for the Addis Ababa Education Bureau!
Now, our team is preparing to install water filtration systems at 9 additional sites--putting us well on our way toward our goal to give 30,000 kids in Addis clean water by the end of the year!
Last week, Splash's headquarter office hosted a staff member from our Ethiopia field team. He said to us, "We want to do more projects so more kids can have clean water!" It was music to our ears.
Will you help us fund more water projects in Ethiopia?? Our team is able and ready, and thousands of kids are waiting!
From all of us at Splash, Thank you!
