Project Update: Clean Water & Shelter
Thanks to your continued support, we are able to provide life-saving assistance to communities affected by major disasters around the world.
Following the devastating impact of Category 5 Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, Disaster Aid USA immediately provided families with clean drinking water, emergency food, and essential relief supplies. As the emergency phase transitioned into recovery, our focus shifted to rebuilding damaged homes and helping restore community centers, allowing local residents to once again gather, receive services, and begin rebuilding their lives.
Today, we are carrying out a similar long-term recovery effort in Venezuela following the recent earthquake. Working alongside our trusted Rotary District partners, we are distributing Sawyer water filters, solar lights, emergency supplies, and other critical aid to affected families. At the same time, we are actively raising funds for a major shelter initiative that will provide the materials needed to help families construct safe temporary housing and begin the long road to recovery.
Disaster Aid USA remains committed to staying with communities beyond the initial emergency response. By partnering with local Rotary leaders and community organizations, we ensure that assistance reaches those most in need while helping communities become stronger and more resilient for the future.
Thank you for making this work possible. Your generosity continues to provide hope, clean water, shelter, and a path toward recovery for families facing unimaginable challenges.
