In honor of World Ocean Day which was June 8th, let’s both take a moment to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking magnificence of our planet's greatest treasure—the ocean.

As we travel together on this journey of awareness and conservation, we embrace the crucial role each one of us plays in safeguarding the future of our blue planet. Together, as allies for the ocean, we work hand-in-hand to protect its incredible wonders and fragile ecosystems.

I hope you appreciate, as I do, the various types of ocean defenders in our alliance: scuba divers, beach cleaners, boat crew, social media activists, scientists, people who spread the word, and many more, including the donors such as YOU who undergird the ability make it all happen.

As you know, the ocean holds an irreplaceable significance in maintaining the delicate balance of life on Earth. It’s home to countless inspiring creatures, from majestic whales to colorful coral reefs and enchanting sea turtles. Our shared mission is to protect them all. The ocean generously provides us with nourishment, regulates our climate, and even contributes to the very air we breathe -- we can't live without it.

This is why Ocean Defenders Alliance does what we do, saving marine wildlife and ecosystems…together with you.
