Migrant Clinicians Network (MCN) continues to work in the development, update and cultural adaptation of training, tools and resources to support the safety of communities and clinicians during a climate disaster. The key community impacted by these efforts is the farmworker population. These workers are exposed to several climate-related disasters including wildfires, flooding, and extreme temperatures.
MCN understands the importance of having cultural appropriate imaging, as it demonstrates sensitivity and promotes engagement in capacity-building activities. The funds that Migrant Clinicians Network (MCN) receives through GlobalGiving are key to allowing us to capture images of these communities to improve our materials for training and outreach. These materials will be used to improve a climate resiliency curriculum for clinicians serving farmworkers in the Caribbean.
We are grateful for your continued support as it provides us with the resources necessary to serve the communities that need it most. We appreciate your contributions.
