Greetings all,
We would like to first take this opportunity to express our sincerest gratitude for your support of Imani House. With your donations, we have been able to continue serving women and children in our Jahtondo Town, Brewerville clinic. We thank you for recognizing the importance of accessible and trustworthy healthcare in Liberia.
As you may have heard, the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) has appeared in Liberia. At the time of this update, over one hundred Liberians have succumbed to the devastating illness. Imani House is working with the Liberian Ministry of Health to protect and educate our staff and patients, but there is only so much local healthcare professionals can do to contain the virus. Thankfully, the clinic has not seen any cases of EVD at this point, but strengthening our lines of defense against the virus is essential. If you are able, please consider continuing to support Imani House so we can be even more prepared to tackle this urgent, growing issue.
Again, we thank you for your help. Keeping afloat after the loss of our primary donor is challenging, but your generosity has gone a very long way. You are truly helping to save our clinic, and in turn, helping to save the lives of women and children.
Please, if you can, pass along our link to two of your friends so they can learn about the work we do in Liberia. We look forward to providing you with additional updates in the future. May peace be with you!
