Our Women-Led Food Security project aims to empower women in rural Malawi to improve food security and nutrition for their families and communities. Through training, resources, and support, women are leading the way in sustainable agriculture, nutrition, and livelihood development.
Key Achievements:
- Trained 500 Women:
Provided training on climate-smart agriculture, nutrition, and entrepreneurship.
- Established 10 Women's Groups: Supported the formation of women's groups for collective farming, savings, and lending.
- Improved Nutrition:
Distributed seeds, tools, and resources to promote nutritious food production.
- Increased Income:
Assisted women in generating income through agricultural sales and value-added products.
Success Story:
Meet Agnes, a smallholder farmer who increased her harvest and income through our project. She's now a leader in her community, sharing knowledge and inspiring others.
