The main objective of MAKAIA´s Programming Bootcamp is to achieve the employability of its participants, who for 4 months are trained in Web Development, life skills and employability tools. We are seeking to transform the lives of these low-income people, who access the training through 100% scholarships financed by cooperators and allies of our corporation.
93% of our graduates are employed in the technology sector after completing their training, thanks to the skills acquired and the support received. These tools allow them to approach new job opportunities and open career paths to gain work experience and/or continue their education.
This is the case of Daniel, who thanks to the training was able to acquire the necessary self-discipline to achieve the goals set in the bootcamp ¨they prepare us with the languages that the market is demanding, and with skills such as Design Thinking. At first,facing employability can be difficult because it can be a fast or slow process, but at the end, there is always a company that needs your profile¨.
