The Collinsville Food Pantry almost made it a year before they had to shut down for Covid! We had an employee test positive and the other employee had to go into quarantine. All the volunteers were told to get tested and stay home for the week. So the Pantry had to shut down for one day. The patrons who came to the doors were given a sack lunch and were informed of the temporary shut down. They were all very understanding. Several Board members came in on the other scheduled Pantry day and helped distribute food. The Church was sanitized and no one else tested positive. This has been a trying time for us all. The Pantry has worked hard not to let this virus keep them from their mission to feed our Community.
The Pandemic is not over and we still need your support. Covid will not defeat us!
