Fundraising is always on our mind at the Collinsville Food Pantry. COVID restrictions have left us unable to be able to participate in some of our regular fundraising activities and we have had to look elsewhere for funds (like crowd funding!) This week we had a young man who is the son of one of our Board Members, approach us with an idea for fundraising. He suggested holding a table top game tournament in which participants pay a fee to enter and have all the money go to the Food Pantry. This was an unsolicited offer and we were all very impressed that he thought of us and our needs. We have done all types of fundraising but the best ones are from individuals who come forward and want to help. This shows what an impact that we have made on our Community. People know who we are and what we do. Please continue to show us support on this platform. Hunger is always there.
