Give the gift of education this year. Our project will provide a Test preparation course program and scholarship to rule and urban students of Vietnam. We are a 100% volunteer organization working with TCC High School Completion Program where international students can receive their WA State high school diploma and their associate degree at the same time. In this way students can come to TCC at age 16 or 17 and then graduate from TCC with the dual degree In saving time and money.
Despite considerable economic progress in Vietnam in the last couple of decades poverty is still a problem in rural and even urban areas. Students in rural areas do not have the financial support for their education. Those who eventually make it through twelve years of schooling graduate lacking even in basic skills, making it impossible to seek gainful employment or pursue higher education. The average wage per person in Vietnam is around ($150) a month so parents need financial support
Education is the only way for Vietnamese children to escape poverty. We have seen measurable success and we are now seeking to expand our Tacoma Community College USA Scholarship Project. The program will address the needs of at-risk students and their families in preparing their opportunity to obtain a quality education through USA College's or University's and we carefully screen our student for this scholarship program through the local Police Department certification program
This education project is to improve opportunities for future development for education in Vietnam. We're addressing important issues that affect many people. Our mission is to spread awareness and raise money for solutions we have identified. We created this campaign for everyone to contribute at various impact levels.
