With the support of our generous donors, the Community Health Worker Training Initiative has continued to strengthen community-based cancer care across Ghana. During this reporting period, community health workers received practical training on cancer awareness, early detection, patient education, and referral pathways to appropriate health facilities.
This initiative empowers frontline health workers to serve as trusted sources of information and support within their communities, improving early diagnosis and timely access to care. By building local capacity, the project contributes to better treatment outcomes and stronger community health systems.
We are sincerely grateful to our supporters for making this important work possible.
