With the support of our generous donors, the Community Health Worker Training Initiative has successfully trained community health workers to provide critical support for cancer awareness, early detection, and patient care. During this reporting period, participants received hands-on training on identifying early warning signs, educating communities about cancer prevention, and referring patients to appropriate medical facilities.
This initiative strengthens the local healthcare network, empowers communities with knowledge, and ensures that patients receive timely guidance and support. By equipping health workers with these skills, we are improving early detection and treatment outcomes for cancer patients across Ghana.
We are deeply grateful to our donors for making this project possible and for helping communities become stronger and healthier.
Because well-trained health workers save lives.
