Challenge

Many community midwives work with limited supplies, inadequate equipment, and minimal support. These challenges make it difficult to provide safe prenatal care, manage deliveries, and respond to complications, increasing risks for mothers and babies.

Solution

By equipping and supporting community midwives, this project ensures women receive skilled, timely care during pregnancy and childbirth, reducing preventable complications and deaths.

Long-Term Impact

This project will contribute to safer pregnancies, healthier newborns, and stronger maternal health systems. Over time, communities will experience reduced maternal and newborn mortality and improved confidence in local health services.
