News reports indicate that fighting has again started in Tigray. Farmers fear going to their fields under these circumstances. Schools have been closed for almost two years. Hospitals and Health Centres struggle with no medicnes and little supplies.
Abraham's Oasis (AO) was assigned to care for some 1500 internally displaced people (IDPs) in a local college, the IDPs have been provided with grain and (Shiro) high protein flour. The local government then asked if AO could help with some hungry groups in towns to the north of Shire. They helped them too.
Then reports came through that professionals in health facilities, school teachers and other government employees have been facing serious and life limiting food shortage. So AO has located food, bought the food and shared it with these faithful employees.
Two additional safe houses for traumatised victims of this sad situation have been set up for counselling due to this Emergency heartbreak!
Bless you for caring!
