This project will construct clean and safe community toilets in rural Ghana to reduce open defecation, prevent disease, and restore dignity to families who currently lack proper sanitation.
Many rural communities have no access to toilets, leading to open defecation and the spread of diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, and other infections. Women and children are especially vulnerable to safety and hygiene risks.
We will build durable community toilets, provide handwashing facilities, and educate families on proper sanitation practices to create a healthier and safer environment.
Improved sanitation will reduce preventable illnesses, protect women and children, enhance community wellbeing, and promote long-term public health and dignity.
