Help us provide free comprehensive HIV care to over 12,000 children, youth, women, and men living in one of the poorest areas in Kampala, Uganda. Providing a complete range of services increases patient retention and treatment adherence, which are crucial for maintaining healthy, happy, and productive lives. Donations allow us to continue providing life saving, complete care.
Despite making progress, Uganda continues to have one of the highest HIV prevalence rates. Too many Ugandans are continuing to needlessly suffer and die from HIV, and an average of 380 new infections are diagnosed daily. Instead of treating people living with HIV as second-class citizens, Alive Medical Services provides them with state-of-the-art medical care, holistic care to support their well-being, and a sense of dignity.
Alive Medical Services operates a clinic that serves over 12,000 HIV patients and provides them with comprehensive care, including: clinical treatment, antiretroviral drugs, psycho-social support, modern laboratory services, youth programming, family planning services, nutrition support, safe drinking water purification systems, and economic generation opportunities. By providing this complete range of services, we increase patient retention and treatment adherence.
A fully funded clinic allows over 12,000 HIV+ patients to receive the comprehensive care that they need to lead healthy, happy, productive lives.
