Challenge

Our mission is to empower the blind and visually impaired students through assistive technology. Due to their lack of computer literacy, they are unable to access online information that might otherwise allow them to more fully participate in society. Students become discouraged and fall behind due to technological challenges. We tries to help visually impaired children to use the technology that suits them best as they grow up.

Solution

These computer training will help the visually impaired in the following two ways: (1) During COVID learning moved to Online Assesments, Study Material , this training will help them to attend their classes, it teaches them how to communicate with friends via e-mail and web phone and, (2) it allows them to acquire information independently online. It encourages individual learning and growth for students of all learning styles at their own pace and prepares students for the real world.

Long-Term Impact

When Persons with disabilities are equipped with computer literacy and computer assistive technology they will be more likely move forward in their career and employment, which leads to self-sufficiency and a higher self esteem. With success, more visually impaired persons will pursue higher education and professional aspirations. "There is no better way to thank God for your sight than by giving a help ing hand to someone in the dark".
