As the road is extremely difficult and degraded, local villagers, students face serious difficulties in travelling, agricultural cultivating and producing. The project will make a concrete infield road with a length of 135 m, width: 2,5m, thickness: 0.16 m from Giang stream to NaPacMung to contribute to improving travelling, agricultural cultivation and production for 700 local ethnic minorities in Moi village, Dong Chum commune, Da Bac district, Hoa Binh province, Vietnam, 30% of them are poor.
The infield road from Stream Giang to Na Pac Mung where 100% of villagers plant rice and other crops with a total area of 20 ha is purely land road and is being seriously degraded due to storms, flood with numerous puddles, potholes, landslides. Therefore, local people meet severe difficulties in travelling, agricultural cultivating and production. This road is also a shortcut to go to the main road and school of 300 ethnic minorities, 100 of them are students at Na Loc and Co Phung village.
The project will make a concrete infield road with a length of 135 m, width: 2,5m, thickness: 0.16 m from from Stream Giang to Na Pac Mung, concrete grade: 250 to contribute to improved traveling, agricultural cultivation and production conditions for 700 local ethnic people in Moi village, Dong Chum commune, 30% of them are poor; 300 other villagers of nearby villages, 100 students are also benefits from this road. Local villagers directly manage and implement the project by themselves.
Conditions for travelling, agricultural cultivation and production of local ethnic minority communities of 1000 local ethnic minorities, (100 of them are primary and secondary students) will be much more improved. Labor productivity will be increased along with enhanced local people's income. Self-management capacity and responsibility of local ethnic minority communities in implementing other community development works/projects at localities is strengthened and enhanced.
