Many young people in Nigeria lack access to safe sexual health resources, increasing the risk of HIV, STIs, and unintended pregnancies. This project will establish condom banks in 10 vulnerable communities, providing free condoms, education, and safe-sex guidance, empowering youth to make informed choices and stay healthy.
Vulnerable communities in Nigeria face high rates of HIV, STIs, and teenage pregnancies due to limited access to condoms and sexual health education. Stigma and misinformation prevent youth from protecting themselves, perpetuating poor health outcomes and social vulnerability.
We will set up condom banks in 10 high-risk communities, offering free condoms, sexual health education, and counseling. Community health volunteers will raise awareness, distribute condoms safely, and provide guidance, empowering youth and adults to practice safe sex and reduce infection risks.
Reduce HIV and STI transmission in vulnerable communities, lower rates of teenage and unintended pregnancies, increase access to sexual health education and resources, empower youth with informed decision-making skills, and promote sustainable community-led sexual health initiatives.
