This quarter, we're excited to share that thanks to support from donors like you, we've been able to donate 7 more hardware kits to bring technology integration to rural schools in Honduras and trained more teachers, including one new department, Ocotepeque. We are now reaching over 1,200 youth in the class with technology integration! Teachers report that youth are very excited and motivated by the digital contents, especially in math and science.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Second training session with 58 tutors from Comayagua and Yoro
- First training session with tutors from Ocotepeque and additional teachers from Yoro who hadn't yet participated
- Donation of 7 kits of equipment, which will support at least 10 schools
We are also currently working on developing two new manuals for teachers - a PDF version and an interactive version - to help guide them in how to best take advantage of Kolibri, the platform we use for offline learning in low connectivity schools.
Thank you for your support of this project!
