Abandoned cow issue has become a growing problem in Gujrat. Though Cows are considered as the holy animals in India the pious animal is left alone to suffer at the hands of wild animals and perilous situations.
We came across a heart-wrenching state of one such innocent calf near Jhundal Circle, Ahmedabad. She was brought in by an animal lover Mr. Suresh (name changede) to our hospital in a sorry state.
The calf had severe injuries and an animal bite so deep that her muscles could be seen. The calf was treated and operated for her wounds and properly feed for she was dehydrated due to the scorching heat. The calf has been sent to a proper rehabilitation center after she is completely cured and healthy.
