A brave youth saved a calf’s life by bringing it to Jivdaya. The poor calf was a victim of territorial fight with some stray dogs. As a result, the calf had a severe wound on its ear. Amongst of a group of people who were watching the incident, a young boy took a quick decision to take the calf to our hospital. He did not even wait for a vehicle to carry the calf, he somehow managed to take the injured baby in his two-wheeler vehicle with help of his friend. When he reached Jivdaya our team immediately started treating the calf and clean the wound, so it doesn’t catch any infection. With help of those compassionate youth and our team’s treatment, the calf recovered and regained its strength. Jivdaya needs more such young animal heroes to serve many more injured animals like this calf. A tiny effort can save thousands of them.
