On the once lush green outskirts of Ahmedabad, where wildlife once thrived, the growing spread of construction has slowly taken over, leaving many animals struggling to survive. In the midst of this change, a beautiful Sarus Crane was found severely injured after being electrocuted, helpless and far from its natural habitat. Kind-hearted locals stepped in and rushed the bird to Jivdaya Charitable Trust, where a dedicated team took on the challenging case. The treatment was complex and required patience, care, and continuous effort, but the team remained committed every step of the way. As urbanization continues to bring rising cases of electrocution, road accidents, poisoning, and territorial conflicts, many precious lives are lost each day. Yet, through compassion and resilience, Jivdaya strives to restore balance in nature—one life at a time. After a long journey of healing, the Sarus Crane regained its strength and was finally released back into the wild, a small but powerful reminder that hope still exists even in changing landscapes.
