‘Jivdaya’ celebrated the day of love by hugging a cow (Kamdhenu Hug Day):
Kamdhenu Hug Day is an annual event celebrated by Jivdaya Charitable Trust, an organization based in India that works towards the welfare and protection of animals, particularly cows. Kamdhenu is a mythological cow from Hinduism, considered to be a symbol of prosperity and wealth.
The purpose of Kamdhenu Hug Day is to raise awareness about the importance of treating cows with love and respect, as well as to encourage people to show their affection towards these animals. The event is usually held on Valentine's Day. A day to showcase your love to your near and dear ones. On this day a bunch of volunteers from Jivdaya spent their day hugging, feeding and nurturing cows and silently conveyed their gratitude to this amazing creation of mother nature. By celebrating Kamdhenu Hug Day, Jivdaya Charitable Trust hopes to promote kindness and compassion towards all animals and to encourage people to adopt a more humane approach towards them.
