Shaan- the calf with open wound and Metacarpal fracture
Shaan, a male calf was met with a terrible accident and left alone on the road with open wound and a nasty fracture. After several days of the accident, he was rescued with the help of some local street vendors and brought to Jivdaya Charitable Trust. By the time we received him, his wound and fracture became infected. Our team of doctors found an open wound and a metacarpal fractured limb. Due to the severity of his health condition doctors decided to amputate his leg to save his life. Before the surgery, Shaan was treated with fluid, antimicrobial and analgesic to stable his condition.
After a two hours long surgery, our team finally saved his life and took him out of danger. His recovery is rapid, and this sweet boy is ready to be moved to his forever home where he will receive treatment and care throughout and a pain-free life.
