India has the largest cattle population in the world, with more than 190 million cattle. The cow has been called the mother for a reason. Everything it produces is for the benefit for the mankind and creation at large. Despite the strong relationship people have with animals, many stray cows often treated inhumanely. A week back we had received one such case of a cow, which got abandoned due to a severe infection in his front limb. Luckily a farm laborer rescued it immediately and brought it to our hospital for treatment. It was in too much of pain and needed immediate first aid and treatment, after emanation it’s being given antibiotics, pain killer and regular dressing to remove the infection that spread on the lower side of her leg.
The cow is still under medication and will be in our shelter till it stabilizes completely and then will be released in the field.
Thank you very much for your kind support in the form of generous donations that keeps us going with saving as much as innocent lives that we could!
