Fracture in Horn is a most common condition among the cattles. Horns usually get fractured due to fights or road accidents as a result they face severe trauma. Few days back we came across one such case of a cow with a massive wound in its right side horn. When she was rescued and brought to our hospital by some local animal lovers her wound was open and filled with mud. After examination our team of vets flushed the wound, bandaged and splinted the broken horn.
After a week of Constant medication, follow-up and nutrition along with physiotherapy, the cow is now settled and showed improvement but still has a long way to go for complete recovery, till then the cow will be in our shelter under medical supervision.
Thank you for your support and trust!
We request your strong association with our projects to continue the work of saving Abandoned Homeless cow.
