Potholes are not only deadly for humans, but they can affect stray lives severely. “Lalita,” an extremely loving and friendly cow, was abandoned by her owner when she fell down into a pothole and fractured her left forelimb. Being a large animal and due to the fractured, she could not move and stayed there for several days in a pathetic condition. As a result, she developed a maggot wound in her injury. Thankfully, with the help of an animal lover, a famous rescue group rescued her and brought her to our facility.
Our team did not take time to clean her wound thoroughly and started treating it with proper medication. Her injury was old and nasty, and on top of that, she was malnourished. She took a real good time to heal with treatment, proper nutrition, love, and care. Now Lalita is shifted to a Cow Shelter (Goushala) where she will never go hungry or deprived ever again.
We thank you wholeheartedly for your generosity and kindness. It is our duty to take care of every beautiful creation of mother nature. Together we can protect and nurture all the speechless souls, Come, let’s save them together.
