Cow is considered to be 'Sacred' in India, let alone Bambi the abandoned Calf who's journey has been rough and unimaginable.
Bambi was abandoned and left on the streets to survive as it was of no value to the Cowherd. There are designated dumpsters all across Ahmedabad city for waste management which is also a belly boon for stray dogs and cows, falling short of luck Bambi entangled himself with a pack of stray dogs who were dumpster diving for food, Bambi being a vulnerable male calf who couldn't retaliate to the multiple vicious attacks by the pack slithered on the ground in pain and deep open wounds which left a small room for the fragile soul to survive. A team of Good Samaritans from Sarkhej area in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, got Bambi at our shelter where with the expertise of our team and Doctor's we found out that hehad mulgtiple dog bites. After getting undivided medical attention for 1 week by our JCT team, Bambi started recovering .We experienced a rapid improvement after 2 weeks and finally after a month and half Bamby was recovered completely and shifted to his forever home.
During his treatment Bambi had become everyone’s favourite not only among our team members but all the volunteers and visitors also loved him for his friendly nature. He used to seek cuddles wih his big innocent eyes and never let anyone go without hugging him. We wish a wonderful life for Bambi.
P.S We share the same planet, let's share it equally.
