‘Yashwant’ a young mail calf and his herd were returning home in one fine evening. Baby Yashwant was not being able to keep up with his mother and walked far behind her. While crossing the road, he started running as he was completely left behind and started panicking. Out of fear Yashwant started running faster and was unfortunately hit by a car. The poor baby injured his leg badly and could not move due to tremendous pain. Upon returning the herd, Yashwant’s owner could not find him and thought he will return late. Unaware of the fact that the baby was lying on the road with an injury his owner did not pay much attention to the fact. But the next day morning when he could not find him, he went out to find out Yashwant and discover him far from the house lying on the road with pain and shock.
His owner immediately tried to help him to get up, but Yashwant could not as he had a fractured leg, and by the time the wound was old. His owner tried hard to get local help, but no one was there to help him at that point. Unfortunately, one more day passed by and on the third day, the owner managed to contact a rescue group who finally rescued and brought Yashwant to Jivdaya Charitable Trust.
Our team of doctors examined his wound, cleaned it thoroughly followed by proper medication, and then treat the wound with a window splint bandage.
Right now, ‘Yashwant’ recovering under our team’s supervision and follow-up treatment. We will reunite him with his owner and his mother once he is completely recovered.
Friends, increasing traffic on the road is not only a threat for these speechless animals but also a threat for us. Anything can happen at any point of time. So, whenever you are riding or driving, do not rush. It is better to be safe than sorry.
Thank you for your support which helps us save precious lives like ‘Yashwant’. Your kindness is our treasure. So, keep spreading love and keep saving lives with us.
