A few days back, Panjrapol Ambawadi contacted Jivdaya Charitable Trust (JCT) about a young calf who desperately needed help. What began as a tiny wound had worsened over time, crows had repeatedly pecked at it, turning it into a deep, painful injury. Before long, the wound became infested with maggots, leaving the little one weak, uncomfortable, and constantly distressed.
Our team rushed to the Panjrapol to treat him. They gently removed the maggots, cleaned the wound with care, and applied antiseptic medication. Since then, our team has been visiting every day, dressing the wound and making sure the calf receives the attention and comfort he needs.
He’s still on the road to recovery, but the change is already visible, the wound is healing, the pain is easing, and we can see a spark returning to his eyes. Watching this fragile baby slowly regain strength has been truly heartwarming, reminding us how even the smallest act of compassion can transform an animal’s life.
