‘Maya’ had almost lost her chance at life. Rescued on the way to a slaughterhouse, she was found in a heartbreaking condition, extremely weak, dehydrated, and starving for many days. She was so fragile that she could not even stand on her own. Sadly, this is the reality for many cows. When they stop producing milk, they are no longer seen as “useful” and are often sold for meat, treated not as living beings but as mere commodities.
A caring rescue group stepped in just in time and saved Maya’s life. Working closely with Jivdaya Charitable Trust, they call for our help and team JCT quickly began her treatment. With fluid therapy, injectable medicines, proper nutrition, and most importantly, love and care, Maya slowly started regaining her strength. Day by day, she began to heal—reminding us that every life deserves compassion, no matter how weak or forgotten it may seem.
