We are seeking your support to help CBSECEK build a Modern Early Childhood Education and Teachers Training Complex in order to help fill the gap post by Political, Social and Economic aspect within many communities in Kenya. This Complex will be a center of excellent and a learning point for the Republic of Kenya in an effort to implement SDG goal Number 4. It is designed to help CBSECEK realize the need of proper foundation in early learning. ECDE is a human right that a child must get in life.
Child's brain develops faster in the first 2-3 years than at any other time in life. These early years are also a critical period of adaptability and responsiveness to interventions. When young children are deprived of nutrition, stimulation, and protection, the damaging effects can produce long-term detriments for families and communities. Thousands of children from informal settlements are still faced with challenge of accessing quality education. No guarantee of basic rights for them.
Every child is an everyday excellent. We must strive to protect the future generation by laying a proper education foundation through provision of quality education environment. This Complex will be a center of excellent and a learning point for children of informal settlements and disadvantaged communities as an effort to implement Sustainable Development Goal No 4 to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all children in Kenya.
A realistic and effective ECDE Implementation plan and costing-A long-term ECDE plan will have been developed in offering Competency-Based Education for thousands of children from informal settlements who are not reached by government services as well as Permanent solution on quality Training for Early Childhood Education Teachers. One that clearly sets the steps it will take to ensure that universal access to ECDE becomes a reality in line with SDG 4
