During the first months of 2026, your support became real action inside Corcovado National Park.
With the donation of essential field food supplies, such as tuna, rice, and preserved meats, park rangers were able to stay longer in the field, carry out more consistent patrols, and reach remote areas where presence had previously been limited. In a place as vast and challenging as Corcovado, something as simple as proper nourishment directly translates into stronger protection.
This increased presence led to concrete results. Several environmental offenders linked to illegal hunting and gold mining were detained. In one key moment, rangers arrived just in time to stop an active illegal gold extraction in the Termo sector, preventing further damage to a fragile ecosystem and reinforcing active control over the area.
These outcomes show a clear connection: when rangers have the basic resources they need, protection becomes more effective. Every patrol, every intervention, and every hectare safeguarded is made possible through your support.
Thank you for helping protect one of the most extraordinary places on Earth.
