Over these past two years you have been instrumental in helping many communities and villages around the world adapt and respond as we recover from the impact of COVID-19. In many countries we were among the first to even begin to talk about Coronavirus, as we notified communities to help them prepare for COVID-19 and launch mask and soap making efforts, distributing food and sanitation supplies, and focusing in on health and wellness initiatives.
In the midst of restrictions we have seen communities emerge from this pandemic stronger and more resilient in the face of crisis. Now that quarantines and restrictions are decreasing; many villages have reached out to us as more training resumes, and we’re looking forward to helping them move toward sustainable development.
One great example comes from a village we have been working with in Indonesia. They have drilled several wells (now up to five by the end of the year), have a soap-making group marketing their goods, and have just now started to build latrines. They have made amazing progress over the last two years, despite the difficulties and challenges presented by COVID-19.
Thank you so much for your support and for bringing Help and Hope to those who are most vulnerable to disasters like Coronavirus. Your support has been more important than ever in these times of crisis and distress. Thank you!
