The purpose was to acquaint the students with the transport facility used by most of the people in our country. It helped the children to get hands-on experience to observe how travel is made. The children observed the ticket counter, the name of the train, and the departure and arrival through the information board where the required information is given. For some children, it was their first experience of visiting a railway station. The visit was informative.
