When I first attended the hand wash awareness workshop at my school by the IDF team, I enjoyed the session even my friends enjoyed it a lot. IDF is rigorously spreading awareness towards Coronaviruses and communicable diseases through different activities in communities as well as in schools in India.
During a global pandemic in 2019, one of the cheapest, easiest, and most important ways to prevent the spread of a virus is to wash your hands frequently with soap and water. Even, hand washing with soap is the easiest way to stay away from germs and infectious diseases as well.
Frequently, hand washing with soap and water is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, and the first line of defence against COVID-19. Like a cold, coronaviruses are spread through droplets from a person coughing or sneezing and via contaminated surfaces. Good hygiene is key to avoiding dispersing it and catching it.
IDF is dedicated to spreading awareness towards healthy bodies with healthy minds among school children and in the community. Our team taught them the importance of hand wash and interactive methods of hand washing through games.
Our team taught them below points that we should wash hands;
During the workshops, IDF distributes hygiene kits to all the beneficiaries to follow healthy habits. The kit contains soap, washing soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, mask etc.
Thanks, everyone for your support!
Regards,
IDF Team
