Arizona is currently one of the largest areas seeing an increase in Covid-19 cases. Senior Citizens are one the highest risk groups for Covid-19 related deaths. This project will help supply seniors in The White Mountain Arizona Area with much needed food relief. This will help to keep our seniors nourished and safe from large public places and gatherings.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many seniors are afraid to leave their homes or gather in highly public areas. This limits their access to nutritious food.
This project will ensure seniors of the White Mountain Arizona Area have access to hot meals. These hot meals will be nutritious and supplied with almost no contact.
The project will supply 5,000 meals to seniors in need and ensure their continued health.
