COVID-19 Pandemic is threatening everyone's way of life but for those vulnerable people living in poverty, the potential impact is massive. Your donation will be used to address the emergency need of 500 hardest hit vulnerable families in Nigeria and enhance their chances of surviving the onslaught of this pandemic.
In our community, COVID-19 is causing displacement and death - threatening the lives and livelihoods of most vulnerable people. Our government is doing little to support those who lose their livelihood as a result of the crises. They spread misinformation and discriminate against some religious and ethnic groups. No one is more impacted than those who are already vulnerable. 500 families in our community had been identified as the hardest-hit families.
Donations will be used to address the emergency needs of 500 hardest-hit vulnerable families in our community: providing food aid, distributing soap, face mask, hand sanitizer, and handwashing buckets, spreading crucial information about COVID-19 prevention which will enhance their chances of surviving the onslaught of the pandemic. Our 29+ years of working in this community give us the ability to help these vulnerable families survive.

The food packs will provide essential nutrition, and the provision of soap and handwashing buckets with taps will mean they can practice the correct hygiene practices and curb the spread of COVID-19 Our long-term livelihood support will ensure families have the economic means to sustain themselves after the pandemic ends.
