The mobile van is currently being fabricated internally to meet the ICMR standards according to MCI guidelines. There has been a delay in the process as some of the components are not available dure to COVID. One of the fabricators was also tested positive and the unit had to be shut down for 10 days. The internal fabrication will include an examination table, seating area for the Doctor, nurse as well as the patient. It will consist of storage units for medicines and instruments. Tha van will also be fitted with a sink, water piping, electrical fittings and air conditioning. Once this process is complete, the van will have to undergo inspection and be certified that it meets all the standards. That is the next step in this process.
