Dear Friends and Supporters of St. Nicholas' Home, Penang,
Greetings from St. Nicholas' Home, Penang!
Stepping into the new year of 2022 is an opportunity for a new beginning. A new page in life to be filled, and a new journey to be undertaken. Looking back on 2021, we had our first COVID-19 outbreak but we received joy and blessings throughtout the year.
The Home was self-quarantined due to second COVID-19 outbreak after the Chinese New Year holiday (February 2022). For those who are unware of the situation, we discovered our suspect cases after they returned to the Home after the CNY holiday. The Management immediately sprang into action, quarantining the suspect positive patient and isolating the close contact.
We managed to stop the spreading and detected who positive (suspect positive patient and the close contact). Sanitizations were done twice by exterpaties and daily sanitizations are being carried out by our staff. We are grateful to recieved daily meals from the public and YB ADUN Pulau Tikus. Special shout-out to all donors. Without you, we are nothing.
Here in St. Nicholas' Home, we continue to uphold our motto "We Walk by Faith, Not by Sight". Our yearly expenditures are approximately RM3 million in order to serve the blind at optimal levels. Hence, we humbly seek your generosity of our donors, supporters and people like you.
