Dear Friends and Supporters of St. Nicholas' Home, Penang,
Greetings from St. Nicholas' Home, Penang!
We're about stepping out the year 2022, we had our second COVID-19 outbreak (after the Chinese New Year holiday), third COVID-19 outbreak (Hari Raya holiday) and recently fourth COVID-19 outbreak in the month of September 2022.
For those who are unware of the situation, we conducted COVID-19 self test screening weekly with enforce staff and residents to wear face mask in the premise (although our Helath Minister announced that no need to wear face mask in the premise).
We managed to stop the spreading and always keep the records less than 10 positive cases. The daily sanitizations are being carried out by our staff daily. But yet we cannot stop COVID-19 in the Home. We still uphold our motto "We Walk by Faith, Not by Sight" and uphold our weekly self test screening. This act is to ensure our residents are safe, detect who positive, stop the spreading and minimise their symptoms.
Our yearly expenditures are approximately RM3 million in order to serve rge blind at the optimal levels. Hence, we humbly seek your generosity of our donors, supporters and people like you.
Thank you for being the beacon in our lives and we will be foreve grateful for your support.
