1) Pay our volunteer staff who are currently unemployed. 2) Create a section in our website that provides assistance to LGBTQI+ people who are in isolation and dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, domestic violence, sexual assault, or who have contracted/are experiencing symptoms of covid-19. 3) Pay 3 months of salary for two counselors to participate in a federal youth employment program, and pay for enough psychologists
Problems with the mental health of the LGBTI population nationwide due to quarantine, people are not accepted in the family and suffer anxiety, beatings, rapes, are expelled from the home, problems with alcohol and drugs. Which is exacerbated if you get covid 19 or covid 19 symptoms This causes stress, suicide attempts for not being able to express their personality as well as not knowing where to go if they are expelled from the family.
With psychological attention we will help them to cope with the golden age and avoid suicides and in the case of sexual violations and expulsion from the home, channel them to a place, either a shelter or a nearby refuge.
