As people all over the world are being impacted by the global pandemic, many Thai families are struggling just to have enough food to eat. People are losing hope and the suicide rate is skyrocketing across the nation. This project will provide food and essential supplies to provide relief and sustain the families for a few weeks.
Tens of thousands of families in Thailand have been greatly impacted by the Global Pandemic. The economic fallout and massive unemployment have caused widespread unemployment, lack of hope, and depression leading to issues such as family disintegration, suicide, and overwhelming uncertainty about the future. The Thai government has given some aid to families in need, but many families have not qualified for these programs and the aid is running out for everyone.
The Feed 1,200 Thai Families Covid Relief Program will distribute enough food and essential items to each family to ease the financial pressure they are facing. The food will help sustain them for several weeks. This will not solve all of their problems but it is our hope that sharing will bring about change. As we share with these families it will give them hope and foster a spirit of cooperation that will help them work together to solve and overcome the obstacles they are facing at this time
