This program aims to improve case detection and reduce transmission of COVID19 within IDPs Camps in Iraq as apart of unifying the efforts with MoH in moving towards sufficient coverage and control. Viyan Organization and in-line with WHO Iraq country strategic plan will strengthen COVID19 surveillance and prevention at community level through awareness campaigns and distribution of required PPEs.
During this challenging time of COVID-19 and associated socio-economic impact in Iraq, the vulnerable displaced people whom are living in camps settlements are witnessing and experiencing another crises with new shape and face, this group are mostly relaying on humanitarian assistance as a source of basic life services.
Our team through this project will support the targeted community for better surveillance and prevention coverage, By: 1. Conducting Awareness activities on Hand Hygiene and COVID19 prevention practices 2. Procuring and distributing PPEs supply for community members
