Doesn't everyone deserve necessities for everyday living? For 28 years we have provided holiday gifts for over 25,000 people. With this project we want to ensure that hundreds of people of all ages, cradle to grave from under resourced communities, will have access to items to keep themselves clean, warm, clothed, cared for and safe each day. Fresh diapers. Clean clothing. Warm blankets. Necessary toiletries. Access to incontinence pads and tools for aging safely.
There are many hundreds of thousands of people from underresourced communities who struggle from cradle to grave to have their basic daily needs met. Staying warm and clean, safe and healthy is not possible for them. Providing for every day needs is a struggle. Babies need diapers to be healthy. Children must have clothing. People need toiletries to be clean. We want to make sure they have the basics of everyday living so they can live with good health, cleanliness, safety, dignity and hope.
We are planning on raising $5,000 which will provide 40 babies with diapers and 40 children with clean clothing. We will provide warm blankets to 40 hospitalized teens and shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush to 40 homeless people. Forty elderly people will be given the tools to keep clean, healthy and safe by providing them with incontinence bed pads, grabber sticks and pillows. Everyone we will help is from underresourced communities on the East Coast of USA.
This project will provide necessary basics of everyday living to 200 people allowing them to be clean, healthy, warm and safe. There are so many people unable to buy the essentials to make it through the day. With these donated necessities, people can stay healthy, cleaner and battle the challenges of living in our underresourced communities. Over the past 26 years, we have witnessed first hand what the miracle of kindness can do and how it can lift the spirits and provide hope to so many.
