Thanks to generous support, we are making steady progress toward launching this life-saving initiative. While the project goal is $50,000, we are currently in the early fundraising phase and actively mobilizing donors, partners, and community supporters to secure the resources needed to begin implementation.
Financial planning has been prioritized to ensure every contribution delivers maximum impact. Initial budgeting has been completed, covering key areas such as safe house rent and security, survivor meals and emergency supplies, counseling services, medical support, legal aid coordination, and vocational training materials.
We are also engaging pro-bono service providers and strategic partners to reduce operational costs while expanding survivor support services. This approach allows donated funds to go further and directly benefit women and girls in crisis.
Once the first funding milestone is reached, immediate next steps include securing the confidential shelter location, furnishing the space, and preparing to welcome the first survivors.
Every donation moves us closer to providing safety, healing, and a fresh start for women and girls escaping violence.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
