"I did not know that one of the ways to overcome your problem and cope with multiple challenges is to share your story with others. I admire the share, the dancing, and the singing. These activities have given me renewed hope and promise for the future. I want to thank Camp for Peace Liberia and partners for providing us the opportunity to be a part of this program". Kubo
Camp for Peace Liberia carried out two camping activities at its Farmer Resource Center during the period under review. These activities were intended to assist community members in healing their past and develop coping strategies to heal the trauma of COVID 19. They sang, played, and faced each other in outdoor activities. Since the COVID 19 outbreak, this event was the first of its kind to bring such a large group together.
Also, during the period under review, Camp for Peace Liberia embarked on the construction of an additional camp house. When completed, the newly constructed camp house will accommodate learning activities, including the craft and art of weaving. Art and weaving is a vital learning process that helps people see their talents and skills and unearth their potential. This multipurpose building is the state of art that brings an enormous attraction to our camping site and gives everyone reason to be involved. It will also host other activities to involve agriculture training and hand sewing.
We are grateful to our partners, who contributed both morally and financially towards the success of this program.
